Important Information About Procedures for Opening a New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Regular Checking Account -- basic checking account with unlimited check writing for those individuals maintaining a balance in excess of $500.

Liberty Account -- no monthly service charge regardless of your balance and unlimited check writing. Available to all individuals.

Senior or Student Checking -- (tailored for our senior citizens and students) no monthly maintenance fee.

Board of Education Account -- (tailored for persons employed by the Lauderdale County Board of Education) no monthly maintenance fee and free personalized checks.

Super NOW Account -- interest bearing account that offers unlimited check writing.

Money Market Investment Account -- interest bearing account with limited check writing.

Savings

Regular Savings -- basic savings account that allows up to six withdrawals per quarter with no penalty. Interest rates are listed in our rate chart.

Christmas Club -- open season from November 1 of each year through December 31. Interest is credited to the account at maturity.
